EOC Offices provide administrative support to the South West London Elective Orthopaedic Centre (SWLEOC), which is an NHS treatment centre providing regional elective orthopaedic surgery services – including inpatient, day-case and outpatient.
The South West London Elective Orthopaedic Centre performs the largest volume of joint replacements in the UK, with over 50 different combinations of implants available to a highly-skilled team of orthopaedic consultants.
Between 2015 – 2016, SWLEOC performed over 5,260 procedures and is recognised as the largest joint replacement centre in the UK and possibly Europe. SWLEOC is also one of the largest shoulder surgery centres in the UK. Other sub-specialities include a young adult hip service, soft tissue, spine, shoulder, and foot and ankle procedures.
This office refurbishment was requested by the NHS Trust in order to move the EOC team to a modern building and make a friendlier work place environment. The works comprised the adaptation and refurbishment of the second floor Woodcote Wing to form new EOC Offices at Epsom Hospital, Surrey.
Upgrades include:- demolition and alteration works, new partitions and door sets, new floors, wall and ceiling finishes.
Love Jenkins Associates have been appointed as Quantity Surveyors on this project.
